Overview

The core mission of a Sales Executive is to leverage supply chain expertise to bring industry insights and solutions to our clients that help them solve critical business challenges that enable growth acceleration.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a client-centric, solution-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive growth in the ecommerce fulfillment industry. They will be responsible for consulting inbound prospects through key business challenges in addition to actively engaging with new clients through strategic outbound prospecting efforts. In addition, the Senior Sales Executive will work cross-functionally with the RSF management team to help identify and develop sales and marketing strategies that deliver maximum value to clients.

This is a business-to-business inbound/outbound sales position with target customers being owners, CEO/COOs, and/or operations managers of mid-large tier eCommerce retailers that are seeking a world-class fulfillment partner to support their growth journey. The industry is full of average fulfillment providers, but we’re not one of them. The companies we aim to work with recognize how important quality fulfillment is to their brand promise.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with inbound prospects to evaluate partnership fit and develop customized solutions to solve their individual business challenges.
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns (call, email, text, etc.) to proactively demonstrate Red Stag’s value proposition to target clients.
  • Effectively engage in deep discovery conversations with clients to understand their pain points, business challenges, growth goals and unique needs.
  • Quarterback the sales process with the cross-functional team to align RSF’s core competencies to the clients’ individual needs.
  • Leverage insights from discovery conversations to develop and present customized solutions to clients that address their business needs.
  • Leverage deep industry expertise to support ongoing consultation to prospects to answer questions, provide system demonstrations, give facility tours, and support evaluation efforts.
  • Convert qualified leads into long-term partnerships by efficiently and effectively moving them through the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding and Client Success teams to ensure a smooth handoff for operational execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive continuous outbound prospecting improvement.
  • Secure market/industry insights from each client engagement and share key learnings with the cross-functional team to support ongoing value proposition enhancements.
  • Leverage the CRM tool to drive the sales process and maintain exceptional CRM hygiene.
  • Develop referral relationships in the industry to drive lead flow.
  • Develop and manage lead-generation initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Become an expert within your defined market/product categories and attend relevant industry tradeshows/events to proactively engage with target clients.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven and successful Outbound Sales experience (preferably in the industry).
  • Skilled in asking probing discovery questions and developing consultative-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong cultural fit.
  • Networking aptitude.
  • Experience using CRM tools, such as HubSpot, to guide the sales process.
  • Willing to travel.
  • College degree required; MBA is a plus.

This is a remote position.

 

Shift(s): M-F 8:00-5:00PM

Reports To: Chief Sales Officer

Base Pay: Competitive Salary + Commission

FLSA Exemption Status: Salaried (Exempt)
